You are invited to a quilt tying activity April 20 from 4-7 p.m. The number of quilts to tie in April will be increased to three. The response to the first event was so positive and the event so much fun that a larger group is anticipated in April. We should be able to tie up three quilts!
The quilts are destined to Pine Ridge Reservation in August of this year. Dawn Carlson Conn has offered the use of her studio for the quilt tying sessions. Snacks, coffee and dessert will be provided.
If you can tie a square knot, or are willing to learn how to do so, you are invited to this event. Please consider being a part of this group. Your efforts will shine when the quilts are delivered to the people on the reservation, and will help to ensure warmth to them next winter.
We will be tying three more quilts the third Thursday of May. Please make your calendars for this event.
