If you're looking for a progressive and welcoming church community, we invite you to Robbinsdale Parkway United Church of Christ. We are a community committed to living out our mission of welcoming and loving all people.

As part of our commitment to being truly accessible to everyone, we are excited to announce a new partnership with Bridge Interpreting Partners to provide ASL interpreted church services on Communion Sundays (the first Sunday of each month) and for special holiday services. This is a big step in living out our promise to welcome all, love all, and work for justice for all.

We are:

  • Open and Affirming: LGBT+ friendly

  • WISE: Mental health friendly

  • Accessible to All: Disability friendly

  • Committed to justice and anti-racism

Do you have any questions? Please contact our Disability Justice Minister, Rev. Laura Cannata, at laura@rpucc.org.

According to our partners at Bridge Interpreting Partners, we know this is a vital service for our community. They share the following statistics:

  • Approximately 20% of Minnesotans, or about 1.1 million people, are d/Deaf or hard of hearing.

  • Of this 20%, about 200 babies are born annually with hearing loss in Minnesota.

  • Approximately 90% of d/Deaf children in the United States are born to hearing parents, leaving only 10% of d/Deaf children having at least one d/Deaf parent.

We invite you to join us for our next Communion Sunday and see our commitment to radical welcome in action!
