BELOW IS A MESSAGE FROM PRISM:

As many of you know, our community is facing significant challenges. Recent immigration enforcement actions have created widespread fear and instability. PRISM continues to adjust our services to meet the evolving needs of our neighbors.

Here’s what we’re hearing from participants:

Families from vulnerable communities using PRISM’s services are deeply afraid to be in public spaces. Parents are choosing between safety and sending their children to school. Many adults are missing work or losing hours as businesses reduce operations. These disruptions are leading directly to financial insecurity and housing instability.

Because of this, PRISM has seen a sharp increase in families requesting rental assistance. As a trusted community partner that already provides housing assistance, we remain committed to providing direct payments to landlords to keep families safely and stably housed.

To respond to this urgent need, we are seeking toraise an additional $100,000 to provide immediate rental assistance for households impacted by recent events. Thanks to the generosity of Valley Community Presbyterian Church and an anonymous donor, we have already secured $25,000, which is already being deployed to support families.
